As I'm responsible for looking after academic issues for our Middle Common Room (graduate students' collective body) I'm going to be putting together an alternative prospectus for potential graduate students. I've got some ideas about what should go in it already, but I'd like more input! Please don't worry if you know nothing about colleges and the University - an alternative prospectus is most useful to those who have no experience of the place to draw on. Equally, if you do know stuff about the University, please answer! I will do my best to put in the weird and surprising things about college life, but I won't think of them all.
So, imagine for the purpose of this post that you are currently considering an application to Oxford for graduate studies. You have read the University's prospectus (which is found here) and have all other portions of your application form filled in - you now just need to choose a college. What would you want to know about an individual college before you made your decision?
