[livejournal.com profile] shreena and I were talking about books over the weekend, and the topic of "books that made you go "Whoa! That was great". Tangentially to this discussion we were talking about genres, and wondering about how favorite books fall among genres, so I decided to sit down and write out my favorite books and which (approximate!) genres they fall into. I'm posting them here to satisfy your curiousity and possibly attract some recommendations! So, Ben's favorite books:

Nice list :) I'm' a Liaisons fan myself. Did a seminar on it in college and am also an aficionado of all the different fim versions.

Argh! Why did you have to do that?!

Melanie Rawn - The Exiles Series!

I think that series is like The Game. As long as you forget it exists, you are winning. You are happy and have a certain sense of fulfilment in life.

As soon as you remember it exists, twelve years of anguish comes flooding back, memories of Collan, Cailet, Sarra, Falundir and all the other amazing characters that, at this rate, we'll never have any ending to!

I weep anew.
